Celebrate Culture

Bilingual theater bringing Hispanic stories to life.

Our Story

Since 1991, Teatro de la Luna has brought Hispanic culture to life in DC with vibrant bilingual theater and community events.
A dimly lit stage with vibrant red and blue lighting features a performer in front of an audience. The backdrop displays bold white text that reads 'ES PARA TI'. Spotlights project beams of light onto the stage, creating a lively atmosphere, while silhouettes of people can be seen enjoying the performance.
An urban scene with a tall white building on the left displaying the names 'Centro Cultural de la Ciudad', 'Cineteca Rosalío Solano', and 'Teatro de la Ciudad'. In the background, there is a red-orange building and a church with a dome and cross. A security camera is mounted on the white building.
Colorfully dressed dancers, wearing traditional Mexican attire with vibrant skirts and braided hair, perform in front of an audience seated in an amphitheater setting. The performers' dresses feature bright colors like pink, blue, yellow, and green, with intricate lace detailing. Spectators appear engaged, enjoying the lively cultural performance.
